Have you ever found yourself perfecting some sort of skill, only to realize that nobody cares anymore? Like balancing a spoon on your nose or memorizing your friend’s home phone number? Remember when phones had cables and hung on the wall? Well, congratulations, you are officially part of the Useless Skill Hall of Fame-a place where humanity’s most forgotten-yet-charming talents live on, long after anyone could possibly find them. uh, useful.

Today, we will take a merry stroll down the lane to reminisce about some of those obsolete skills that once really mattered but now exist solely to cause us to laugh and shout, “You mean people actually did that?” Pop your monocle in and lace up those dorkiest shoes; it is time to get nostalgic.
